Does data prep work row by row?

Hello,

I work on quite a large dataset in Oacle (200 millions rows) and I need to perform Data Preparation on it.

I though that Data Preparation worked row by row without loading the whole dataset in RAM, but now, I have a doubt...

Can con confirm that?
