How to add an auto incrementing id column?

This seems like I'm overlooking something simple, but I can't find how to create a new column for a CSV dataset that has an auto-incrementing id. I'm sure it can be done in Python and SQL, but I'm not really proficient at them and it would be nice to just have it as a step in the sidebar instead of a whole new recipe. Does this exist? Thanks.

Hi,

The easiest is to use the "window" recipe, and enable the "rank" aggregation. Note that in order for this to work, you'll need to declare a sorting column.
