Cannot connect to Dataiku Interface with a virtual machine anymore

Hello,

I have a problem with VM version. Indeed, I have Windows and I usually connect to Dataiku with a Vitual Machine (VMware) in the interface http://192.168.74.128:10000.

However, today, I try to connect again to work in my POC OPEC project so I run the VM and I have got a new interface : http://:10000 and it doesn't work. I cannot use the interface http://192.168.74.128:10000 anymore.

Do you have a solution ?

First of all, let me point out the fact that we are definitely dealing with an issue unrelated with DSS so the troubleshooting may be tricky. So if you are in a POC phase, I strongly suggest you consider a more reliable hosting/installation option.

The first thing we need to double check is the IP address of your VM. To validate this information you need to

- go to the (running) VM properties > network > advanced and get the mac address of your VM

- open a console (windows > cmd.exe (or hotkey windows+r > cmd )

- run the command arp -a and retrieve the ip address according to the mac address defiined you your VM setting

You can try to access to DSS using this IP address and the port 10000.
