Mysql left-outer join not working via DSS (but working in MySQL workbench)

Hi,
i'm a newbie here and working on the Churn tutorial.
I was able to load/store 2 tables (events & products) in a MySQL database using a Prepare recipe.
However when i want to join both tables with a Join recipe (via left outer join) it looks being stuck at executing the query (for 50min +).
But if i run the query (generated in output of Join recipe) directly in MySQL workbench it runs fine in 15seconds...
Next, when I use an inner join it works instantly (both in DSS & MySQL workbench).
Any idea what could cause this issue?

In your email, please can you attach a diagnostic of the affected job ? From the job page, click on Actions > Download job diagnosis.
