The Chart is set to auto-limits, but sometimes I want a custom limit. Where do I click to set this option?

Thanks,

    Hi,

You cannot customize the axes numeric ranges (it is automatically computed based on the values). I will add your feature request to our backlog.

What is the status on this feature request? I would like this functionality too.

    Hi Jereze,

I would like to bring to your attention this functionality has repeatedly come up as a blocker for being able to quickly be able to do exploration of data and also as a barrier for new adopters of the platform.

It would be great news if this functionality could be prioritized, it does not seem to be of very high complexity.

    Regards,

    Yezid.

    Hello,

    Could you try these steps?

    - Open your dataset in DSS
    - Open Chart
    - Left click on the Y-axis label
    - Turn off the option of "Force inclusion of zero in axis"

    I've confirmed with DSS v8.0.4.

    Hope this helps.

    Taka

    Hi folks,

Dropping a note here to let you know that this is feature we're working on. If you're interested in getting a first look at this and some related visualization enhancements in a brief, 25-minute feature test, please let me know by either giving this post a kudo or by sending me a DM. I'll be in touch when we have more news

    Best,

    Ashley

Any update on the feature? It would be nice to have some quick features to explore and adjust the charts.

    Hi,

With the release of Dataiku 10, we've made it possible to edit the axis range in charts. Here's how:

    1. Open a chart or an insight in edit
    2. Open the X/Y axis edit dropdown
    3. Change the range from "Auto" to "Manual"
    4. Set your min and max

For more info, check out this video that demos this and other improvements made to visualizations in Dataiku 10 or take a look at a hands-on tutorial.

    Enjoy,

    Ashley

This does not seem possible for the X axis in stacked bar charts. Could this be made possible?
