Welcome Email troublshooting

I'm trying to activate a Welcome Email and customize it based on user properties.

My first problem is that I don't always have an email associated with a user profile at the moment of creation. In my case authentification is based on WebSSO with an ID, and sometimes this ID isn't associated with an email, creating a user without an email in the profile. What will happen with a welcome email in this case ? Is there a way to resend a welcome email after the account is corrected ? Maybe a way to trigger sending a welcome email to selected user(s) with code ? Is there a way to monitor sent emails?

My second problem is that I want to customize the welcome email based on the user properties. All my users are created with custom user properties. And I would love to customize the welcome email depending on the "team" property. Something like if team == team_1 than link1 else link 2. Any idea how to do it or if it's even possible ?

Probably best if you disable the built-in welcome email functionality and create a Python recipe that emails new users according to your specifications. You can then create a scenario and run it every 30 mins or so. You can use the Dataiku Python API to find out which news users got added and email them.
