Hi Dataiku Team,

I have a new requirement to track Windows file logs using Dataiku. Our development team has implemented code that generates logs on a Windows server, and I need to set up a connection in Dataiku to access these logs from my system.

Could you please guide me on how to establish this connection and effectively track the logs from the Windows server using my system?

Thanks

Operating system used: Windows

You have some built-in Dataiku connections that you can use like FTP, SCP/SFTP or ElasticSearch if you have an ElasticSearch server. But in a nutshell it's up to you to device how you are going to make these files accesible in Dataiku. One of the easier ways will be to create a Windows share in your Windows server and mount it on your Linux Dataiku server. Then use a Dataiku File System connection to access the files in a Dataiku Managed Folder. The step to do this will vary a lot depending your different OS versions and authentication methods so not something we can help with, ask your System Administrator for assistance.
