Hi everyone,
I've been using the Dataiku tutorial to learn about the platform. I have a question about the Window Recipe tutorial, the 'Use a range of rows section'. From the tutorial, I understand that when I set the number of rows before to 5 and the number of rows after to -1, in the 'purchase_amount_sum' column I will get the sum of the purchases in the last 5 rows, excluding the current one. However, when I do the math, this doesn't seem to work. Is there a bug in this, or do I understand the tutorial incorrectly?
I am attaching two screenshots to further explain my question.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Hello,
On your first screenshot I can see that you didn't sort on purchase_date, even though it looks sorted maybe it comes from this. Also, the computation error can come from the fact that in the explore view you only have a sample of the dataset.
