Why don't I have these options for Setup and Format?

I'm taking the Core Designer courses. On the first module: Interface & Data Exploration tutorial, Explore your Data, step 4, shows a pane with Setup and Format tabs. I don't see that and I've tried multiple times going back but can't figure how to get this panel?
This is what I have.

It looks like you may be on an old version of DSS. The "Format" tab was added starting in DSS 12.5.0:
> Formatting of charts is now centralized in a new “Format” panelYou can upgrade to take advantage of this update.
