Is it possible to suppress the popup zone, recipe and dataset names in the flow?

Is it possible to suppress the popup zone, recipe and dataset names in the flow? The zone name is often larger than the recipe and dataset icons and I find myself having to constantly drag items out of the way so I can select them. I tried clicking the eye symbol in the popup, and it disappeared for a few seconds before reappearing.

can you please provide more detail or screenshots? Not sure what you mean by "popup zone" etc
