Is Public Webapp accessible outside company's network?
Is public webapp truly public? What I mean here is if Webapp can be accessible outside the company's network or can only anyone within our company can access the public web app?

Hi @palindrome
,Webapps can be publicly available - being an authenticated user is not necessary in order to access the webapp, and no authorization control is performed. See DSS reference docs for details and instructions: https://doc.dataiku.com/dss/latest/webapps/public.html
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi @palindrome
If the machine where DSS is within your company's network, or intranet, and the network is not open to external users, except through a VPN or similar technology, then the public webapp is only available within your company's network, and not to the outside world.
As far as I'm aware, DSS won't override any security policy or firewall rule set by your company, and it is up to the DSS admin to agree with IT on how to expose a webapp to the internet.
If in your case DSS is already exposed to the world, then you have to be careful about public webapps, and understand the documentation @JordanB
already shared.Hope this helps!

The free licenses include access to webapps. Please see the following document for details: https://www.dataiku.com/product/plans-and-features/
