Nowadays, many businesses turn to e-commerce sites like Amazon, eBay, and Shopify to expand their direct-to-consumer (D2C) presence and improve sales. As a result, there is fierce competition among businesses in the same industry to rank well in these platforms' search results.

Content is an important strategy for reaching SEO goals. By employing the appropriate keywords and managing content across numerous touchpoints, it can assist in improving rankings. Therefore, optimizing the text of the product description page is essential if you want to be successful in e-commerce SEO.

In today’s ever-changing market, D2C companies need to be able to generate and optimize Product Description Page (PDP) content at a very rapid pace. However, updating the PDPs across numerous geographies, channels, and Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) requires a significant amount of manual labor. Thus, we leverage natural language generation approaches to automate the content.

Using Dataiku's established NLP recipes, the text/corpus pre-processing was completed in a low-code, no-code manner. The coders were able to program some advanced features with the aid of the coding environment.
