Hi,
Generally speaking, a DSS instance is only a folder on disk. Installing a new instance (following the regular installation procedure) in another folder will work. You could also, after stopping DSS, remove the folder where you installed it, and reinstall at the same location.
If you had enabled the "start DSS at boot" script, you'll also need to remove it from your startup scripts (exact steps vary according to your Linux distribution)
