WHAT: Currently on Dataiku there is not a way to set a default source connection for end users on the UI. It is defaulting to the source connection that comes first alphabetically.
WHY: For instances where numerous connections exist, end users have to scroll through the options each time they create a new source dataset on the flow.
Recommendation: If possible, it would be helpful to allow admins, and/or users to provide default connection settings so that every time a user needs to create a new source dataset on the flow it defaults to that connection each time.
Current work around: We are working to consolidate as many connections as possible, however, even with consolidation end users may still need to scroll through a large selection.
