It seems to me that even though Dataiku gives us the ability to format UTC dates to many different time zones. Using those created columns that are changed to local time zones do not work for items such as filtering on those time zones, etc. Additionally, it does not look like the format of dates takes into account the ability to adjust for standard time. For example, Right now UTC is 5 hours ahead of EST. But if you format a UTC date to EST, the time difference between the two is just 4 hours. It seems to be that Dataiku does not have the ability to change the format date column, based on daylight savings time. It would be super beneficial if you were able to use these formatted local time time stamps to do data cutting. And also if the format of the date actually took into account daylight savings time.
