Weird Behavior in Plugin Editor

When I'm in the plugin editor, I am unable to edit certain files. I click on recipe.py and the filename will turn blue. The file will appear in the tabs in the editor, but will be greyed out and unable to edit. In fact I'm unable to see any contents of the file. This goes for recipe.json, recipe.py and any other new file I create.
I just started experiencing this week, very strange. I'm unable to work in this environment.

Hi, are you still experiencing this behavior? If so, can you confirm that your are still on a Data Scientist profile (can be checked in your user settings).
