Application Designer
Is there anybody on this list who has used the Application Designer and used variables? If yes, would it be possible from to have a Zoom meeting so I can discuss a few issues in 15-30min rather than wait 1-2 weeks? I read most of the documentation, watched video and still cannot find answers on the practical use of variables (I want users to select variables). Please let me know. Thanks. Gordon.

Hi @Erlebacher,
I saw your earlier post about Application Designer and wanted to check if you were able to understand how it actually works behind the scenes.
I’m currently trying to figure out whether the Application Designer directly uses the underlying dataset and stores user inputs back into that same dataset, or if it creates a separate session/state for each user. I’m especially concerned about how it behaves with concurrent users and whether data gets shared or overwritten.
If you’ve gained clarity on this, could you please share your understanding or any resources that helped? I’m facing a similar challenge right now.
