I've have an account created now what?
The page that comes up, I assume is the homepage but it doesn't say homepage.
There is No new project or create a project button on display.
Where is the button 🔘 ✅. From what I understand I'm on the wrong page How do I get to the correct page, also below it says:
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Adding permissions to projects is done in the ✨ PERMISSIONS✨ pane of the Security menu 🔐🔐 🔐 🔦 👁️.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
How do I get to The security menu.
I don't have an administrator so I assume by creating the account myself I am the administrator by default. I say this because researching tells me that if I do not see a new project button I need to have admin permissions.
If I'm not admin who is my admin.

Hi,
I hope that you are doing well. Are you using Dataiku Cloud or on premise here.
In general, an easy way to retrieve the version visually is to follow this doc:
If you are currently on the launchpad and on a version <v14, you can follow the following instructions :
To create your first project please follow these steps:
To create your first project please follow these steps. Go to
Click on OPEN INSTANCEYou will be direct the dss instance from here you can create your first project + NEW PROJECT
If you are not able to locate the launchpad please let me know whether or not you are currently using Dataiku Cloud as well as which version you are currently using. A screenshot of the page you are on would also be very helpful so that I can have better visibility to guide you here:)
You will only be able to check your role if you are an admin. If you have created your own account and instance you should be the space admin by default. If you have joined an already existing instance through an invitation it would depend on the permission granted.
In general I would also recommend taking the free academy courses we are offering here:
These allow you to get a free certification and are created by us so you will get the best hands on experience with the latest up to date course.
If you are unfamiliar with DSS I would recommend taking the core designer course first to get hands on experience and then moving to the ML practitioner course (based on your Udemy course title).
Let me know if you have any further questions or inquiries here.
Best,
Yasmine
