sonarlint in VS Code studios

Hi,

We are just starting using VS code studios in Dataiku 11. We would like to add the add in for SonarLint. It seems to install successfully, but when it tries to run I get and error that Java 11 or more recent is required to run. but this is needed inside the code studio image on which I have no control. wondered if anyone else has tried this and had any luck.

Thanks

    Hi @Peter_R_Knight

Have you tried to click on "Get the Java Runtime Environment"?

After this you should have this extension enabled in VS code studio:

the button simply opens a new window at https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/ it doesn't install directly into the code studio environment and I don't know how to do that if I did download it locally.

    Hi @Peter_R_Knight

Thanks. That's weird as I got a message from VScode studio after installing the SonarLint addon: "Java is not detected. Do you want to install it?". I clicked on "Get Java" button and VS code installed it automatically.
