how to get the version number of the dataiku installed on a linux machine.

I have access to login to machine but unable to get dataiku version on command line

    This information is provided in the dss-version.json file inside the DSS data directory.

    I have multiple version folders in the machine,

    is there a way to get which version is installed

    Can you please share the command if you have any.

    Would you please clarify what you mean by "multiple version folders"? It is possible that you have different folders like:

    dataiku-dss-X.Y.Z

    Those would be past installation directories. What you need to look at is the data directory. Perhaps if you share a listing of the directories we can provide further guidance. Have you checked the following section on the link I provided previously? It explains how to find the data directory of a DSS node:
