How to open an MS Access file

I know it's been a while since this was asked, but is there a way to set up a connection like this if the .accdb file exists in a DSS managed folder?
/apps/DATA_DIR/managed_folders/<project_key>/<folder_object_id>/<databasename.accdb>
That is what I just tried but I'm getting an IO error message that says this is actually a directory.

For me it works from a DSS managed folder. Are you sure your path is correct?
