Connect to a Snowflake Stage

I would like to connect to a Snowflake Stage. Could you please explain how to do this?

I am planning to build a RAG solution based on PDF and Word files stored in the Stage.

Thank you. I have reviewed that documentation, but I would like to directly access PDF and Word files stored in a Snowflake Stage rather than focusing on the enhanced performance features described there.

My goal is to build a RAG solution based on documents stored in the Stage. Is there a recommended way to access those files directly from Dataiku?

Hello.

Can you tell us if its an internal Snowflake stage or an external one based on S3, Azure blob, GCS ?

If it's internal, there is no native way to connect to Snowflake stage. You should use a custom python recipe to synchronize files to a managed folder in DSS.

If it's external, you can configure the underlying object storage as a DSS connection and point a managed folder at the stage’s bucket/container prefix. This should provide direct access without copying the documents.
