The text value is getting converted to Decimal on applying TRIM fucntion

Hi, there is a column called vehicle_name with data type TEXT. I applied TRIM function as a primilary DQ check, and the value is getting converted to Decimal. Please find the attached screenshot for your reference. Text value: 22000996D
Decimal value: 2200996.0
