Copy-paste tables from DSS
Hi dataiku users,
My name is Han, a technical product manager in Dataiku.
We have shipped a small but hopefully very useful feature that allows you to copy-paste the tables from DSS to your excel, or google sheet etc.
Here is how it works for Explore view of the table
It also works for SQL notebook for example:

That’s a cool feature. I’m not at my computer at the moment. I’m wondering how it handle sampling, and the progressive page display? I have some datasets that are hundreds of columns wide, and millions of rows long.

So it is rather simple that it will copy what you see currently in the table. It is independent of the sampling of your table. It is like WYGIWYS but what you copy is what you see :)
We do have a size limit, which can be configured by your instance admin. If your row reaches the size limit, it will copy the frist N rows and show you a banner saying that it "First N rows have been copied to the clipboard”. It is intended to be a handy feature.
Curious to know what would you use it for once you try it!
