Kafka and the schema registry

I'm building a project that will create a dataset from a Kafka topic. I'm getting the error message:

Failed to construct kafka consumer, caused by: ConfigException: Missing required configuration "schema.registry.url" which has no default value.

Where exactly would I define the schema registry URL?
