How to manipulate scenario variables of reporter to create a custom variable?

Hi,

I want to create a custom variable($env_var) based on the value of scenario variable $dssURL. I tried modifying the code under 'custoom variable' section but get the following error:

An invalid argument has been encountered : in scenario test_scenario 2022-11-23-13-07-54-671: <type 'exceptions.TypeError'> : list indices must be integers

If anyone can help me with the documention of this function, it will be big help. Thanks!
