Upload to Tableau Online

Has anyone succeeded in using the export plugin for Tableau to Tableau Online?



No credentials that I used seems to work. What exactly is the expected URL?

    Hi,

    The Tableau export plugin does not currently support export to Tableau Online. You can export locally, or export to a Tableau Server.

    We will add this feature request to our backlog.

    Hi Alex, is there an indication when this might be picked up? Just roughly like, Q2, this year or even not before next year is fine.

    It seems that most packages suggest that uploading to Online isn't all that different to uploading to server. So it might be an easy fix.

    If you have an urgent need and are able to design the quick fix, you can also submit a pull request to https://github.com/dataiku/dataiku-contrib/tree/master/tableau-export-v2 directly.
