flexdashboard not working in rmarkdown

I am trying to create an rmarkdown report formatted with flexdashboard. I have setup multiple pages as specified: https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com/flexdashboard/using.html#multiple_pages
But in the dataiku viewer I only see the dashboard as one page. I do not see the bar at top that allows selection of the multiple pages. Is there a certain setup I need to configure dataiku?
