Linking Dataset from a Database Table in Python

Hi,
I'd like to write a python recipe that calls multiple SQL statements against a database through JDBC. I'd like to get the output of those statements linked as a dataset within DSS. The actual SQL statements should be executed in-database, and i'd like DSS datasets to be created for the output. exec_recipe_fragment is not supported by my jdbc driver.
Let's say somewhere in my python recipe there are multiple "CREATE TABLE AS SELECT...." statements, and for each of them I'd like to have an associated dataset within DSS.
Any ideas?
