Plugin Parameter - Upload File

Is it possible to have a parameter for a custom file upload? I see DSS Dataset, which seems like the same thing, but this requires our novice users to upload the dataset into the flow prior to using the plugin. We are trying to reduce the number of steps as much as possible, but cannot avoid the frequent custom upload of a certain file. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is not possible to upload a file as a plugin parameter. You will indeed need to either use a dataset or managed folder.
