Unloading a notebook via webapp

Hi all,

I am currently developing a webapp where I want to be able to unload running notebooks. Perhaps this can be done via an API call?

Currently we can unload a notebook by going to Administration/Monitoring/Running background tasks, however would like to have this functionality within a webapp if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.
