Hi,

If you mean the ports to access the DSS nodes, then it is the ports specified during the installation of the nodes.

If you mean the DSS node's ports used by DSS itself, then DSS may use up to 10 consecutive TCP ports (https://doc.dataiku.com/dss/latest/installation/custom/initial-install.html#pre-requisites).

Please let us know if this answers your question.

Best.

Hi,

Then, I assume you are referring to running workloads in Kubernetes. In this case, JEK will open a random port in the range between ports 1024 and 65535, so the DSS host and executors on the K8 cluster can connect.

If my assumption is incorrect, please provide more details on what you mean by "JEK ports".

Best.

Hello,

Is it possible to define a port range? I can't get approval to open ports between 1024 and 65535 from security team.

Regards

Are you using Kubernetes in Dataiku? If not this doesn't apply to you. I will suggest you post a new thread with your requirements and why you think you have an issue.
