Hello.
I am working on setting up a test machine and I would like to transfer the projects and dataset from one instance to another.
I only want to recover the bare minimum to have the installation as clean as possible.
How can I do it?
I've more than one hundred projects so I don't want to use the export features project by project.
Best regards,
Hi @Erylis ,
Migrating this many projects would best be done by migrating the data directory to your new instance.
To achieve a cleaner migration you can exclude the following from your sync/backup:
https://doc.dataiku.com/dss/latest/operations/backups.html#what-can-be-excluded-from-the-backup
You will also need to follow these steps:
https://doc.dataiku.com/dss/8.0/installation/migrations.html#migrating-the-data-directory
While exporting/importing individual projects can be done via CLI and API. In your case, this may be more complex.
