DSS installation on Ubuntu

Hello,

Because of a problem of using selenium on a notebook jupyter inside a linux>Docker>DSS instance, I decided to totally format my linux computer in order to re-install DSS directly without use Docker.

But actually I'm not able to install DSS getting some error during the installation

Does someone can help me ?

Hi,

the path in which you unzipped the DSS installer probably contains accented characters, which the python scripts to build a default virtual env don't like. You should move the installer to a different path

Thanks for your reply.

Actually I guess the problem was I ran into Ubuntu Desktop and not Server.

After reinstalling Ubuntu Server, it's working.
