Connecting to snowflake

Hi

I'm trying to connect my dataiku instance to a snowflake instance. I have admin rights in dataiku, but I don't understand JDBC connection URL v oauth connections.

I can get it to connect using my snowflake username and password, but there is one other user who needs to connect to snowflake and he can't use the same user name and password as me.

I've looked at the dataiku documentation, but it doesn't make any sense!

Thanks in advance

    Hi @ColleenSpence
    ,

If you are trying to use a single username/password for multiple users to connect to Snowflake, the username and password simply need to be configured at the "global" level and not at the "per-user" level:

Then, the username and password simply need to be set up under the connection in Administration > Connections, and any user that has access to the connection should be able to authenticate.

If this still doesn't work for you, I would suggest checking the Security settings on the connection to ensure the user has access to the connection.

    Thanks,
