Is there a way to manually create WARNING outcome for a job or step?

I'd like to manually create WARNING outcome for a job or step to handle edge cases in our custom plugin.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I don't think you can override the step outcome but sure you could have a dummy check that always results in a Warning?

I was trying to get the API response of a step/job with result as WARNING.
