Title: Data Scientist
Location: 100% Remote
Summary:
- It is a Dataiku consultant role who will be responsible in building, best practices for developing and managing solutions in Dataiku.
Responsibilities:
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis, Define approaches for data mining.
- Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and R&D involving operating heterogeneous data sets
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
- Train designers and explorers in Dataiku by building organizations’ specific training curriculum, organizing and conducting the trainings.
- Build solutions such as project templates, starter projects, documentation and conduct office hours to provide guidance on architecture and design of solutions in
- Dataiku for the users.
Solution design and architectural guidance
Build tooling, solutions and starter projects with baked in best practices
Evangelize Dataiku with training and enablement services
Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or other related fields
- Real world experience of solving business problems using machine learning, data mining, data analysis
- Data-oriented personality
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Experience with common data science toolkits (such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Must-have skills:
- In-depth understanding of Dataiku
- Should have designed, developed Big data analytical solutions in Dataiku
- Strong expertise in Spark, Pyspark and Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving mindset
Nice to haves:
- Machine learning, MLOps skills - Optional
