Two Separate files - one with training data, the other with target data

I am very new to Dataiku so please forgive me for this question. I have two files, one with the training data, while the other has the target data. I realised later that I could not access the target data to carry out any sort of prediction. There was only access if the target data was in the training file. Is there a way to access the target data from a different file? Please advise.

Thanks

Hey @nosa ,

I assume from your question that you are using Dataiku's Visual ML from the LAB and you would like to apply your completed model to the Target dataset.

If that is correct, once you have completed the design of your model you will need to DEPLOY it onto the Flow (see screenshot) and then apply it to the Target dataset with either the Score or Evaluate recipe (see the second screenshot).

Alternatively, if you would like to use the Target dataset as a part of your train/test split then you can go into the LAB > Design > Train/Test Set and choose "Explicit extracts from two datasets" (third screenshot).

Hope that helps,

Emma
