Conundrum 6: Finding Meaningful Values

Generic Community Conundrums - header for posts3 (1).png

Welcome to the sixth Community Conundrum! This week, can you help this reseller find the Beatles?

A reseller of used rock band t-shirts just found out that Vintage Beatles t-shirts are selling like hot cakes. The data includes a column that identifies the band but "vintage" t-shirts are coded with a value of "1". The reseller wants to be able to easily identify Vintage Beatles t-shirts as they get added to inventory.

With a little help from your friend, the reference documentation, configure DSS to validate "vintage" and "Beatles" t-shirts as they get added to inventory.

If you would like to share your results with the community feel free to do so here either in the form of screenshots, a text based description,  a project upload, or all three! If you would like to upload your project please refer to Submission guidelines  .

@CoreyS ,

When you say:

"The data includes a column that identifies the band but "vintage" t-shirts are coded with a value of "1".

Do you mean that the "condition column" contains a 1?

vintage = 1

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
