Machine Learning Basics” > "Create First model " option not displayed in the LAB?

Hi, On “Machine Learning Basics” course (https://academy.dataiku.com/machine-learning-basics/546058”) > Create the Model > Hands-On: Create the Model > Predicting Whether a Customer Will be of High Value:
it is written:
“In the Flow, select the customers_labeled dataset and click on the Lab button to create a new visual analysis. Give the analysis the more descriptive name High revenue analysis."
Click on the Models tab in the visual analysis and then click Create first model. A modal dialog appears where you must choose the type of modeling task you want to perform."

But I don’t find "Create first model" link.
Is it the same thing like AutoML choice?
Thanks to you.

Hi @titouan3412 ,

If you:

  1. Select the dataset
  2. Click Lab
  3. Click New Analysis
  4. Click Create Analyis
  5. Click the Models tab

... you should see something like this:

Thanks.
What you propose seems be a shotcut for the below steps?

  • Select the dataset
  • Click Lab
  • Click "Auto ML Prediction"

Hi @titouan3412 , yes, it's an alternate set of steps to creating a model.
