Refresh record count in Dataset Explore view

In one of the v12 releases a new option to calculate the records count was to the Dataset Explore view, see the two arrows on the following screen shot:

I think that's a great addition but unfortunately Dataiku decided to hide the option once the dataset gets a total record count:

I think it will be much better if this option is always displayed so it can also be used to recalculate record counts, not just for first time us only.

Hi @Turribeach

We only hide it when “date when count was computed” > “date when sample was computed” (so there is nothing new to compute). Otherwise it's shown.

Note that you can also recompute the “record count” from the right panel if you want to, though.
