Failed to train : : [Errno 13] Permission denied

I am getting the above errror whille trying to train a model.

I guess it is to do with some kind of permission issue. Can anyone help please

Indeed, it is a permissions issue, most likely relating to your UIF configuration.

I would suggest checking with your server admin that there is a UNIX user corresponding to the user that initiated this training and that the user has appropriate permissions on the various DSS directories.

Within the training logs, there will be a more detailed error message pinpointing the specific directory encountering access issues. You will need to make sure that the UNIX user has read/write permissions on that directory.
