Virtual path to store file in managed folder

A virtual path can be provided within the managed folder, where we can store the file and can take any action on that file without opening or reading as Dataset

I am not sure what this idea is requesting really. It's already possible to store files in Dataiku Managed folders and handled them without opening or reading them as a Dataset. What exactly do you think you are not currently able to do?
