Welcome to the Dataiku Community!

Our mission is to provide a fun, vibrant and incredibly valuable space for all users across the data science community to gather and provide peer to peer support, best practices sharing and broader discussion around AI and Data Science. If you’re a seasoned Dataiku user, you’ll want to try your hand at advancing through our ranks, and if you’re new, that’s okay too - expect a little surprise and delight as you work your way through mastering the product.

But with all that in mind, we have a few guidelines we hope you’ll be glad to abide by:

Have fun

Yup, that’s right. This experience is about enjoying all engagement and content here - whether you’re crafting an amazingly witty, yet informative response, or you’re consuming every byte of data you can get your hands on - we hope you have fun along the way!

Play nice

Keep in mind, the majority of users here have come because they want help, want to learn something or connect with others who have shared passions for data and all its glory. Sometimes people may ask seemingly basic questions - we all need to start somewhere, so please, kindly welcome them and provide assistance if they seem a bit lost.

Keep it on topic

This community is all about Dataiku and the ways it can improve your work. We want users to be able to engage with that topic, and feel confident that this is a place for them to discuss Dataiku. With that in mind please keep conversations and any links relevant to the topic of Dataiku and data science.

Review the deets

On that note, if you’re new here, be sure to have a look at some of the great content already created to help get you up to speed on community best practices, things like ‘Search before posting’ can save tons of time, and allow you to add to an already engaging discussion. Respect people's time and attention by asking well-thought-out questions and sharing what you've learned so far in your experimentation or prior research. Respect people as individuals by keeping your tone positive and your comments constructive.

When in doubt, reach out

If you’re unsure where your question or comment belongs, don’t hesitate to reach out to a Moderation or Community Manager by Private Message and ask for assistance. We’re here to help and the last thing we want is for you to leave and not come back because you were unsure.

Is it billboard safe?

Don't share anything about yourself or your organization that you would not want to see on a road-side billboard. Share your business email address if you wish, but don't post personal information-your own or anyone else's-including contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one communications without the author's consent.

By using these forums you agree to follow these rules as well as the Terms of Service for the Dataiku Community. We thank you, and your fellow community members thank you.
