DSS connector to IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics
Hi Dataikers,
The idea would be to have in the plugins store the possibility of having a connector between Dataiku DSS and the software IBM Planning Analytics powered by TM1.
There are many companies using this tool mainly in their financial departments for the needs of budgeting, management control and reporting (and more), and therefore, have an often very substantial data heritage that it becomes useful explain and apply prediction methods to assist them in their daily tasks.
After learning to use Dataiku DSS, it became clear that if there was a direct way (like a connector to a relational database) to leverage the data there, it would be icing on the cake for customers who already have this tool from IBM.

Hi Bilal
One way to do this is to use TM1py recipes within Dataiku. Depends on how your DSS platform and IBM Planning Analytics platforms are setup.
