  Hi, The "DATE" type in DSS is actually a Java-style date, in other words a SQL-style timestamp. There is no "date-only" type in DSS.

  Hi, Unfortunately, DSS does not support reading from TDE files. It can only export data to TDE files, to get data from DSS to Tableau.
