Multi-sheet Excel Export within a template

I would like to know if there is a way to use the Multi-sheet Excel Export Plugin by importing data into an existing Excel sheet (template)?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to append sheets/data to existing workbooks/sheets.

Would you please elaborate on your use cases (what you would like to achieve)? Would you like to append sheets to an existing workbook? Or, would you like to append rows to an existing sheet?
