Export Documentation

Export Documentation

In the documentation, I read the instructions to create a flow document:

  • You can generate a document from a project with the following steps:

    • Go to the flow of the project

    • Click the Flow Actions button on the bottom-right corner

    • Select Export documentation

    • On the modal dialog, select the default template or upload your own template, and click Export to generate the document

    • After the document is generated, you will be able to download your generated document using the Download link

-----------------

I cannot see the "Export Documentation" link on my version of Dataiku. Is it available on the free version of the software? The feature list does not indicate that it is not. Thanks.

Hi!

Just to confirm your question and answer, in order to use the Flow Document Generator, the graphical export library has to be activated on your instance.

Please refer to the link below:

I'll answer my own question. Just follow the instructions at https://doc.dataiku.com/dss/latest/installation/custom/graphics-export.html
I wonder why the feature is not enabled by default.
