Timeout for Oracle Connector

Timeout for Oracle Connector

Hi,

While using Oracle Connector in DSS, is there a setting with which I can set query timeout, so that if data retrieval could not be completed within a time window then it ends and may be throw some error or log it.

Hi,

You can define the JDBC properties to pass to the JDBC driver to create the connection from the connection settings screen: Administration > Connections > Your Oracle connection > Advanced JDBC properties : from here you can override the oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout value by adding this properties.

I hope this helps.
