How do I show totals in a pivot table chart?

I have stacked two datasets (Alerts & Filings).

I have used the the chart functionality to pivot and colour code the data (attached).

How do I show a new column that provides the percentage of alerts by filings? In the attached example the new percentage column would ideally show me 0.9% (18/2043).

I couldn't for the life of me get anything to work, including using the pivot recipe which just blows my mind every time I try something with it.

Hi there,

You won't be able to create a new column that doesn't already exist in the underlying dataset within the chart itself. However, I would suggest using a Prepare recipe to create a new "Percentages" column by using a formula. For example, something like the following:

Then, you could always use/include this new column that you just created in whatever charting you're trying to build. As for the pivot recipe, more information about how this recipe works can be found in our documentation here:
